Welcome To Calvary Kids!
Calvary Kids makes classes available for children to learn the Bible at their age-appropriate levels, to worship the Lord freely with their peers, and to grow in their personal relationships with Jesus. We would love to meet your kids and welcome them to a place where they can experience Jesus through the diligent work of our loving volunteers. Please join us for our regular kids’ services and keep an eye out for any special events!
What is Club 139?
Club 139 is a dedicated classroom where children with special needs are learning Scripture in a way that is tailored to accommodate their specific needs. This classroom offers specialized materials, Bible-based curriculum, and an environment where anyone who comes through the doors will feel at home! About Calvary Kids:
Nursing Mothers
The nursing mother’s room is provided for the convenience of mothers currently nursing infants. There is a television in this room for mothers to watch the service live while they nurse. Ask a Welcome Center team member to help you locate this room.
Check-In
The nursery classroom is for children ages 0 to 23 months. It is equipped with toys, books, play structures, and diaper-changing stations. With parent approval, we provide Gold Fish, Cheerios, or Gerber Baby Puffs.
The heart of our nursery class is to provide a safe space for parents to drop off their infants so they can attend the service in person without distractions, love on, and share Christ’s love with the babies.
Curriculum
The 2—and 3-year-old classrooms include worship, Bible study, prayer, a craft, snack time, and Bible reinforcement activities. Children in these classes also learn skills such as sitting in a chair, listening, sharing with others, and keeping their hands to themselves.
The 4-5-year-old classroom includes worship, Bible study, prayer, a craft, snack time, scripture memorization, and Bible reinforcement activities. Children in these classes also learn skills such as listening, sharing with others, communicating, and participating.
Events
The kindergarten through 5th grade classes begin with kid-friendly, Christ-centered, high-energy praise and worship. Then, each grade returns to their classroom for Bible teaching. Every teaching is at the same place in Scripture to ensure that when a child moves up a grade, they will not repeat a book but will continue moving through the entire Bible.
About Our Services
Our adult services are geared toward ages 12 and up. Once the children have completed children’s ministry (5th grade), they move into the adult worship service for our Sunday morning and Sunday evening services and into our Middle School youth group on Wednesday evenings.
The question has been asked, “Shouldn’t we worship together as a family?” The answer is YES! We encourage and educate families to worship together daily at home. However, because children learn at different levels and because we love children, we have made every effort to provide an appropriate learning atmosphere for each age group. We want the church to be fun, understandable, and applicable at every age level.
We understand that this may be a new concept for some families. That is why we allow first-time visiting families to worship together in the sanctuary or to attend their child’s classroom for the first week to help them feel more comfortable.

How can I serve?
Calvary Kids has many volunteer positions available for those who want to serve. We need teachers, helpers, Clean Team volunteers, Welcome Team volunteers, Special Events volunteers, and more!
To serve in Calvary Kids, you must have attended our church for 6 months or longer. You will also need to attend a Calvary Basics Class, fill out an application, undergo a short interview, and pass a background check (18+). Click the button below to start the process.
